What payment methods can you use?
The most common way to pay on Tutred is by using a major credit or debit card. We accept:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express (availability may vary by region)
- Discover (availability may vary by region)
Tips:
- Save Card Details: You can securely store your card information in your Tutred account for faster checkouts in the future.
- Check Billing Address: Ensure your billing information matches what’s on file with your card issuer to avoid any declines.
Security: Tutred uses encryption and other security measures to protect your card data. It will never be shared with tutors or external parties.
You may also use PayPal as an accepted payment method for booking lessons and purchasing credits.
Tutred wallet credits
Credits, promo codes, or gift card balances can be applied toward your lesson costs and accessed through your virtual wallet in your settings.
- Credits: Tutred credits that you purchase will automatically be applied at checkout when you are booking a lesson and deducted from your virtual wallet balance.
- Promo Codes: Enter your promo code at checkout, and the discount will be applied if valid.
- Gift Cards: If someone has given you a Tutred gift card, you can redeem it in your account settings. Any remaining balance will automatically apply to future bookings until it is used up.
